For Anxiety and Grief
ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَٱبْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَٱبْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ ٱسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أَوْ أَنزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِّنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوِ ٱسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ عِندَكَ أَن تَجْعَلَ ٱلْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي وَنُورَ صَدْرِي وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow; from weakness and laziness; from cowardice and miserliness; and from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men.
There is no power nor might except with Allah
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ
There is no power nor might except with Allah.
Dua of Prophet Yunus
لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
There is no god but You; glory be to You. Indeed I have been of the wrongdoers.
Facing Difficulty (Hasbunallah)
حَسْبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
Salat al-Istikhara – Seeking Guidance
ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِن فَضْلِكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ وَأَنتَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ
O Allah, I seek Your guidance by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. For You are capable and I am not, You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen.
